Mets 1st round draft pick to debut on Monday

In the 1st round of the 2016 MLB Draft, the Mets selected right handed pitcher out of Boston College with the 19th pick. The 6’2″ pitcher had an ERA of 1.49 in 2016 which currently tops the BC single season record list.

The Long Island native signed on June 21st & will receive his full slot bonus of $2.3M & will have high expectations. Dunn who is a power pitcher with a fastball in the high 90’s & a slider in the high 80’s & was still working on his breaking ball & change up will make is professional baseball debut with the Brooklyn Cyclones in Batavia taking on Ryan McKay & the MuckDogs on Monday night.
